Curaçao investor residence permit ('Investors permit 2014', Richtlijnen Investors permit 2014 under art. 7 Landsverordening Toelating en Uitzetting)
Sells the right to live in the country (a “golden visa”), sometimes leading to citizenship later.
Notes from the research
Residence permit for high net worth investors: ANG 500,000 gives a 3-year permit, ANG 750,000 a 5-year permit and ANG 1,500,000 an indefinite permit; purpose includes purchase of real property or a business investment. The 2014 decree (in force 1 Oct 2014) replaced a Ministerial Decree of 3 August 2009 (not read), so an investor scheme existed earlier; 'launched' left empty. Curaçao is a country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands; Dutch citizenship after residence is not part of this decree. Current status not confirmed (press reports a 2025 revamp; not read).
