Notes from the research
Two-year temporary residence for a foreigner who holds a bank deposit for at least 730 days, real estate, or shares in an Ecuadorian company, each worth at least 100 unified basic wages (salarios básicos unificados), or a contract with the State. Amounts in basic wages, not converted. Launched 2017-02-06: the Ley Orgánica de Movilidad Humana is in force on publication (Registro Oficial 938); the earlier Ley de Extranjería was not read. The portal publishes monthly 'Atenciones' for the procedure since 2019, not defined.
